Talent Meets Bertelsmann - Join a One-of-a-Kind Virtual Experience

Are you passionate about sharing your ideas for the digital future? Would you like to take a closer look at a global media, education and services corporation operating in some 50 countries worldwide? If so, join Talent Meets Bertelsmann, the career event for future innovators. This year, it will be held virtually in April and is open, among others, to students of business, economics, management and finance.

Talent Meets Bertelsmann(TMB) is the media corporation’s annual international career event, and has been held for more than a decade. It offers you the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into one of the biggest media companies in the world. You will get to know different people working for Bertelsmann and build a valuable network as you will become a lifelong member of TMB’s alumni community.

Entrepreneurship, creativity, digitalization

Normally, TMB takes place in Berlin, but this year’s event will be a one-time exceptional virtual experience for students in Europe. It’s all about entrepreneurship and creativity, the two values at the core of Bertelsmann’s varied activities in the areas of publishing, television, music, printing, services and education. And, of course, it is about the digitalization that transforms all of these businesses.

TMB will convene students from all over Europe to develop ideas in interdisciplinary teams. This is your chance to contribute your team spirit, entrepreneurial mindset and passion for business to transforming a multinational group. What’s more, by taking part you will lay the foundations for a promising career that comprises innovation and entrepreneurship.

“It was an outstanding bunch of great individuals
coming from different backgrounds and locations.
Also, the pace at which we worked was incredible.
I hardly remember any occasion where I needed
to elaborate something that quickly.”

Jan Tenenbaum, TMB17 alumnus

Talent Meets Bertelsmann will take place from April 12 to 30, 2021. Over three weeks, you'll participate in virtual sessions three times a week. The three-hour sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting at 5PM. These sessions will be about

  • developing new ideas to tackle the challenges of digitalization,
  • working closely with experienced entrepreneurs and
  • cooperating with students from other disciplines such as the humanities and data science.

Finally, you and your team will present your business ideas to a high-caliber jury of Bertelsmann executives.

An experience that will last a lifetime

Apply for TMB by March 14, share your vision for the digital future with international workshop teams and experience a great sense of community from the comfort of your home. In order to take part in this year’s TMB, you must currently reside in Europe and be prepared to actively participate in and contribute to all of the online sessions of #TMB21.
